For food, collect a menu from the bar and order with them there. Wait for your number to appear on the screen and go collect it from the kitchen. Perfect, especially, if you are staying at the saga hotel and have had a long day on excursions so don't want to walk the 20/25 minutes to the main streets. ”

“ Today, while waiting for my flight at Reykjavik Domestic Airport, I decided to eat somewhere but not straight in Airport Cafe and not at the nearby gas station, but somewhere around. That's how I found myself at Stúdentakjallarinn. Literally a 10-minute walk. It's hidden underground on area Hiskollin Island, with a typical student atmosphere, but very reasonable prices. The fish and chips were served quickly. I've had better fish, I've had worse fish in my life. I was more interested in saving time and not having to make a special trip to the city center. And for that price, you can't even get a hamburger at a gas station. It was 4:00 PM, and I waited about 10 minutes. Waiting times are probably longer during college. The value for money is 9/10. I recommend it. ”
